Senior Pastor Alexander Tsvetkov
Was born April 12, 1973.
November 1993 – the first turning to the Lord.
In November 1994, became a parishioner of the church in Сhusovoy (Perm region), where he met his future wife Valeria.
Alexander made a firm decision to devote his life to the Lord, and in January 1995 he attended the Bible school in “New Testament”Church, Perm.
In June 1995, at a youth conference was the wedding of Alexander and Valeria. There are t five children in their family now: Anna, Edward, Ivan, Michael, Alexander.
After graduating from the Bible school, in February 1996, moved to the town Chernushka in Perm region and planted a church there, in April 1996, they held the first service.
In August 1998, Alexander was ordained to a pastor by the bishop Edward Grabovenko.
By 2003, the church in Chernushka had its own building and 120 regular parishioners, more than 5,000 people heard the Gospel. In April 2003, Bishop Edward Grabovenko and Pastor Alexander ordained a new pastor – Andrew Chechihin.
2003-2005 – The missionary ministry: assistance in the planting a church in Kyrgyzstan, preaching Gospel to the churches of Russia, Europe, Pakistan.
In 2005, Pastor Alexander and his family moved to St. Petersburg. Here he worked organizing evangelistic meetings in St. Petersburg and preaching Gospel in rehabilitation centers of the Leningrad region.
In June 2007, together with Bishop Edward Grabovenko was established the “New Testament” Church in St. Petersburg.
In 2013, Pastor Alexander was elected as a Senior Presbyter of the Northwest Association of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith.
On November, 16, 2014 was announced about the union of the Church “Nehemiah” and the “New Testament Church” in St. Petersburg. At present the updated united Church consists about 300 members.
